On October 28th the charming Japanese four-piece Taffy return with their brand new single 'Train', taken from their second album 'Lixiviate', released in June.
Showcasing a softer side to the band's normally noisenik tendencies, 'Train' stretches out on a golden sun kissed vibe. Underpinned by an insistent motorik bass line, singer Iris's pristine vocals ride atop delicate and glistening guitars.
Recalling the unfussy beauty of Life Without Buildings, the melodic mastery of '80s indie band The Feelies and the breezy cool of Yo La Tengo at their most accessible, the single is the perfect soundtrack to while away the last of these warm autumn days.
Known for their upbeat and energetic live shows, earlier this year Taffy toured the UK, taking in shows in Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and London. They are set to return in October supporting The Wedding Present (dates below).
To celebrate their forthcoming return to the UK - Taffy have made the final track from the album 'No Endings But Only The Beginnings' available as a free download.

An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
