Camden, Georgia-based band Silver Palms are offering a free download of their song "Georgia Boy" on their website, which you can download at the link below. "Georgia Boy" has an accompanying music video which boasts beautiful black and white cinematography to compliment the song and the band's playful demeanor. Check it out at the link below as well.
Their new single "Superstar" b/w "Inevitable," which follows their "Georgia Boy" debut track, is due out March 11 on Canvasclub. In addition, the band has upcoming tours with The Orwells and with Jake Bugg, and will play South By Southwest in March for the first time.
Hailing from the rural swampland of Camden, Georgia, the Silver Palms consist of twin brothers Adam (guitar) and Dalton Drury (vocals/guitar) and their childhood best friends Jordan Scott (drums) and Wade Bheam (bass). They started playing music together their senior year in high school, in 2011.
The 1969 session, including the only known recording of 'Sunshine Woman' by the band, will be included on a re-issue of 'The Complete BBC Sessions'...
