Nude Beach has been hard at work for years, touring non stop, releasing two full length records by themselves (later to have both repressed on Mandible Records, and Other Music Recording Co.) and even though they just did a lengthy tour in July in support of their new 7" on Other Music, they are hitting the road again in September with their first stop being the A.V. Club's Hideout Fest and from then on will be out with Suspicious Beasts all the way from Japan for their first ever U.S. shows. Based in Tokyo but fronted by Brooklyn artist Yusuke Okada (who happened to design the art for the recent Nude Beach 7"), the band plays garagey, psych influenced rock and roll in the vein of bands like Reigning Sound and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, surely a perfect sidekick to Nude Beach for this tour.
