The ascension of Lorde appears to know no boundaries, with the news that her breakout single 'Royals' has hit #1 on the US iTunes singles chart, surpassing Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Britney Spears along the way. The track has now sold a staggering total of 1.3 million copies in the US.
This comes as the latest addition to an unprecedented list of achievements for the 16 year old artist, including being the first female artist in 17 years to top the US alternative radio chart, 'Royals' going to #1 in the Shazam chart in the US, the video for the track enjoying a combined over 15 million views on YouTube, Lorde gracing the cover of Billboard magazine and having her praises sung by everyone from Elton John to Diplo.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
