"Fatal Attraction" is the new, haunting single from Los Angeles singer and multi-instrumentalist, Lawrence Rothman, who offers the world a glimpse into his darkly mesmerizing musical psyche via his memorably eerie baritone. A beautiful ode to the flaws in human design, "Fatal Attraction" stays with you long after it has finished its mysterious dance.
"I wrote and recorded the song on a beat-up piano that was apparently owned by Harry Houdini, in a friends studio at 4 a.m after being up for a marathon 32 hours dealing with the grind of life. When writing the lyrics I was thinking about how everyone is most attracted to the people that treat them like shit, bad food, drugs that fuck you up...It's encoded in the human design to love what is fatal."
The single is scheduled for release on MAMAROMA, the new label from acclaimed artist and filmmaker Floria Sigismondi.
