Echotape are set to release brand new single Far From Heaven on March 4th. Co-written and produced by Youth (Killing Joke) and mixed by Grammy Award Winning mixer Simon Gogerly (U2, Massive Attack) and Greg Brimson.
This release follows a fantastic 2012 for the band. After a tour of the UK with the formidable Mumiy Troll, the band were invited to perform in front of arena crowds in both Moscow and St. Petersburg. Earlier on in the year they also racked up support slots with Killing Joke, Cud and Raglans.
Echotape embarked on their own headline tour in the UK which included shows at The Garage in London and Concorde 2 in Brighton. This April the band will head out on the road again visiting Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and the Camden Barfly in London. Full dates below.
The band have been making waves all round the world with radio plays in Japan, South Africa and New Zealand. They also performed debut shows in the USA, including a date at the legendary Viper Room on Sunset Strip in LA.
Art, photography and design all play an important role in the creative ambitions of the band. The band's recent video for 'Spinning' formed part of an installation in the Tate Modern and photographs of the band were featured as part of an exhibition at the Tate Britain.
This year Echotape will release their highly anticipated debut album recorded with Youth in Spain last year. As momentum continues to escalate for the band, the possibilities for 2013 remain infinite.
