With over 3.2 million albums sold in the series to date, BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge album series has secured its seventh Number One with its 8 th volume, 'BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge 2013' entering the charts straight in at number one this week. The Live Lounge albums are the most successful live compilation album series of all time.
The highly anticipated 'BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge 2013' album was released on 28 October and includes first appearances from Rudimental, Bastille, Kodaline, Disclosure and Robin Thicke, as well as returning artists includingArctic Monkeys, Mumford & Sons, Jason Derulo & Olly Murs. The ever-popular album has been dominating the top spots on iTunes for most of the past week beating new releases from the likes of indie rockers Arcade Fire and rising star Lorde.
