Croatia's Barrakud festival today unveils the latest wave of acts that will perform at this year's event, taking place from 9 - 16 August on the breathtaking island of Pag in Croatia. Alongside acts already announced, including Sven Väth, Dubfire and Ellen Allien, Barrakud will also present a stellar selection of electronic music's finest, including Adam Beyer, Art Department, Guy Gerber, Mano Le Tough and Maceo Plex, as well as partnering with many of the world's most respected labels and parties.
Circoloco will bring their world renowned party to Barrakud in 2014, showcasing sounds from high-flying Canadian duo Art Department, BPitch founder Ellen Allien, Berlin-based producer Mano Le Tough, long-time Circo Loco resident Andrew Grant and Dutch house maestro Boris Werner.
Sven Väth will headline Cocoon Day. With a career that spans over 30 years, Sven Väth is a name that regularly features on 'favourite DJ' lists. Showman, label-head, and Ibiza legend, his enthusiasm and energy know no bounds. Also getting behind the decks on Cocoon Day are Ilario Alicante, Maurizio Schmitz and Chris Tietjen.
Ellum Audio founder Maceo Plex will be bringing his trademark sound to Barrakud with a special Ellum Showcase! Joining him will be Miami-born house DJ Danny Daze and Ellum label-mate Gardens of God.
Barrakud will also play host to Dubfire's influential label SCI+TEC with performances from label-head Dubfire, Canadian techno producer Carlo Lio and a live set from Skyler Taugher's solo project Shaded.
Finally, Guy Gerber will bring The Wisdom of The Glove to Barrakud! Since taking Ibiza by storm last summer, Guy Gerber has been busy sprinkling some of the White Isle magic across the globe. Joining him on his mission is French DJ and producer Phil Weeks, with more names still to be announced!
