Aeroplane Flies High is pleased to announce the release of their debut single "Blossom", on September 2nd 2013via Snaketown Records.
The debut single 'Blossom' displays an array of heavy crunching guitar riffs, low-fi melodic vocals and beautifully chaotic rhythm sections, creating a nonstop pop - alt stomper.
AFH is a grunge laden three piece hailing from the outskirts of Liverpool whose name pays homage to alt rock veterans Smashing Pumpkins.
Feeling the urge to play the music they wanted to listen to, the groove infused grunge rockers were inspired by Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins and Melvins. AFH have been a strong force on the underground grunge scene proving themselves from the very first show in Liverpool.
With time and strong will, AFH has honed their live skills and playing an array of sold out shows across the country to get signed by London based record label Snaketown Records.
To coincide with Snaketown Records 1st Birthday, there will be a single launch party on Friday 30th of August at The Black heart in Camden. Starting 7pm till late, AFH will be headlining this with support from other Snaketown acts Francobollo, Stilts and Mollases.

The band performed the album in full at Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival this summer.
The band's first and only album has been re-mixed and re-mastered.
