Most of the top movies earned more at the box office on Sunday than their respective studios had estimated. Rise of the Planet Of The Apes fell 49 percent in its second weekend to $27.8 million, crossing the $100 million mark after just ten days and bringing its domestic gross to $105.2 million. In second place was DreamWorks's The Help with $26 million. The film had opened on Wednesday in order to attract book club members who had helped make the novel on which the film was based one of the hottest best-sellers in recent years. Over the five days the movie sold $35.9 million worth of tickets. Coming in slightly below estimates was Final Destination 5 , drawing just $18 million, the poorest opening of any of the Final Destination movies. 30 Minutes or Less also performed poorly with just $13.3 million, but Glee The 3D Concert Movie had nothing at all to be gleeful about, as it failed to open in the top ten, with ticket sales of just $6 million.
