Toy Story 4 is already being worked on by Pixar, according to the franchise's main star Tom Hanks. Toy Story 3 was both a critical and box-office success, but the 54-year-old insists work on another movie is already underway, according to Bbc News.
While promoting his current romantic-comedy 'Larry Crowne', Hanks was asked whether there will be a Toy Story 4, to which he answered, "I think there will be yeah. Yeah, yeah, think they're working on it now. There you go". Following its release, the third movie grossed over $1 billion worldwide. Although fans of the franchise will be delighted by the news, many critics considered the third film to be solid end to the much-loved story. In a later interview on radio station Magic 105.4, Hanks said, "I think they are trying to do another one. The spirit afoot is to make a fourth". The award-winning animation studio recently announced plans to release a 'mystery movie' on November 27th 2013, however, the project is reportedly an original movie and not a sequel to any previous productions.
Pixar's 'Cars 2' opened in the US last week to strong box-office takings, but it garnered mainly negative reviews for the first time in the studio's 25 years history.
