Fashion supreme-o KARL LARGERFELD has never been one to hold back on an opinion, and when it came to casting his judgment over Pippa Middleton he was as uncompromising as always.
The 78-year-old Chanel designer made his comment on Pippa when he was discussing her sister Kate Middleton's style, admitted whilst he was one of the many admirers of her rear end, her face wasn't up the standard her back had set.
In what was his first public discussion of the Middletons, he commended Kate's style and figure, before turning his attentions to Pippa and frankly saying: "I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."
This is not the first time that Lagerfeld has come under pressure for an off-hand comment he made about a Brit this year, when he caused controversy by calling Adele "too fat." Although he was quick to apologise for his comments, he clearly didn't dwell on holding his tongue in future as the Pippa comments have shown.
Still, he hasn't burnt all his bridges with the British just yet, as he was full of praise for Victoria Beckham and her dedication to staying thin and fashionable despite having given birth to four children.
