- Will Casson-Smith, Warrant Officer, First Class Band Master accompanied by Piper John Mitchell, lay a set of 100-year-old bagpipes belonging to Pipe Major William Lawrie of the Argyll and Sunderland Regiment in the Chapel of Wellington Barracks. Major Lawrie died after becoming ill in the trenches during the Battle of the Somme. This ceremony is seen as an 'Act of Reverence' for all fallen soldiers at the Somme in 1916. at The Chapel, Wellington Barracks - London, United Kingdom - Wednesday 4th May 2016 (1 Picture)
