Portable ESCAPE Traveler XL home lets you hit the open road in freedom and luxury

ESCAPE Traveler XL - Hitting the open road no longer means giving up the comforts of home. Meet the ESCAPE Traveler XL, a revolutionary tiny home on wheels that can sleep up to eight people in a luxury cabin-like interior. The compact 319-square-foot dwelling features a queen-size bedroom and full-size appliances, and can even be customized to go off grid. If the ESCAPE Traveler XL sounds familiar, it's because this tiny portable home is the upgraded and expanded version of its popular sibling, the six-person ESCAPE Traveler. With 50 additional square feet of living space and a first-floor queen-size bedroom, the ESCAPE Traveler XL gives owners more room to stretch out without compromising ease of travel. Like its predecessors, this handcrafted travel-ready home is cozy with a wood-lined interior and quality construction that makes it look like a Prairie-Style cottage. The 13,000-pound ESCAPE Traveler XL comes with its own trailer and can be transported with a large pick-up. The exterior is clad in cedar lap siding with Corten-type steel accents and punctuated with floor-to-ceiling low-e windows. The bedrooms, which accommodate eight, include an upper sleeping loft, optional second sleeping loft, and first floor queen-size bed. The home also features a full-size kitchen, living area with a fireplace, and a big screen TV. Water and power hookups only take minutes to setup. Owners can also take their portable home off-grid with add-ons such as the solar power system, composting or incinerating toilet, gray water system, and rainwater collection systems. "Response to Traveler has been extraordinary," says Dan Dobrowolski, owner of ESCAPEHomes, a design leader of handcrafted travel-ready homes. "Traveler XL offers even more space to travel with the whim of its owner." ESCAPE Traveler also features: Bedrooms:  Upper sleeping loft or attic, optional second sleeping loft plus first floor queen size bedroom (accommodating up to eight) Kitchen:  LP range, venting 30" M/W, 30" ref - Almena, Wisconsin, United States - Monday 16th November 2015 (1 Picture)
