Harrods hosts Harrods Shoe Heaven launch party

CEO of Kurt Geiger Neil Clifford, Creative Director of Kurt Geiger Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, Fashion Director at Harrods Helen David and Managing Director at Harrods Michael Ward - Harrods, together with its shoe partner Kurt Geiger, hosted an exclusive cocktail party during London Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of Harrods Shoe Heaven, the world's largest luxury shoe destination, now open on the fifth floor of the iconic department store. Hosted inside the new shoe floor, guests sipped Louis Roederer champagne whilst enjoying the plush boutiques and stunning art-deco inspired surroundings. Mark Ronson played an exclusive DJ set for the evening, whilst a troop of dancing girls dressed in fabulous silver Christian Louboutin heels brought added glamour to the party. To celebrate the exciting launch, Harrods showcased the limited-edition "Silver Lining" collection showcasing 37 of today's most iconic shoes in silver - created exclusively for Harrods by designers including Valentino, Manolo Blahnik, Roger Vivier, Christian Louboutin, Rupert Sanderson, Charlotte Olympia and Kurt Geiger. Heavenly Old Fashioneds and Dirty Martinis were shaken by some of the world's most talented bartenders and served from classic cocktail trolleys. Canapés included alba white truffle risotto cubs, brancaster lobster with tarragon and bisque dressing and mini dark chocolate s'mores. Helen David, Fashion Director - Womenswear, Accessories, Fine Jewellery & Childrenswear at Harrods, comments: 'Harrods is delighted to celebrate the official launch of Harrods Shoe Heaven as part of London Fashion Week. Our new shoe floor was created with unparalleled attention to detail with every last whim considered and was designed to provide the best possible footwear from the most desirable brands whilst allowing our customers to shop in an unparalleled luxury environment.' Neil Clifford, Kurt Geiger Chief Executive Officer, comments: 'We are thrilled to launch Harrods Shoe Heaven and celebrate our longstanding partnership with Harrods.
