File Photo** * SALLY FARMILOE HAS TERMINAL CANCER Actress SALLY FARMILOE has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The star was given the devastating news just months after she appeared to have won a battle with breast cancer. Doctors found the disease has spread to her bones and liver. The 59 year old, best remembered for her part in U.K. TV drama Howards' Way, believed she was cancer-free before last month's (Jul13) diagnosis. She tells Britain's Daily Mail, "The doctor held my hand and said, 'I'm so sorry to tell you, you have secondary cancer in your bones and probably in your liver as well'. I howled. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't understand why it should have happened to me - and so soon. They said my case was unusual; almost unique... "I thought I had the cancer whipped..." Farmiloe admits she considered ending her own life, but decided to fight on for the sake of her 21-year-old daughter, Jade. She adds, "I was just devastated. I cried and cried. To start with I thought, 'I'm just going to capitulate now and go out on morphine and Champagne'... (But then I thought) I can't check out when she's (my daughter Jade is) only 21. She still needs me... I don't know what she'll do without me. So I thought, 'I'm going to endure whatever's in store.' I know it won't be easy. It won't be nice. But I'm going to do it. I'm going to fight for my girl... I'm grabbing at life... I don't want Jade to see me in pain. So I'm going back on the chemo: seven pills plus the Dom Perignon." Doctors don't know how long Farmiloe has left to live, but the actress/model is determined to make the appropriate preparations and has even planned her funeral. She is also preparing to release a book about her cancer fight and enjoy a vacation in Turkey. (LR/WNTMA/ZN)** Sally Farmiloe, at the Inspiration Awards For Women held at Cadogan Hall.
