She was first diagnosed with the disease in 2010 and was given the all-clear after six months of treatment, but last October (12) she revealed the cancer had returned. In March (13), it emerged Nolan was losing her fight for life and had moved out of a hospice to end her days at her home in Surrey, England. She died at the property on Thursday. In 2000, Nolan landed a regular role in respected British soap opera Brookside before switching to crime drama The Bill in 2002, where she stayed for three years before leaving in 2005. She continued to enjoy theatre and TV roles in the U.K., and in 2005 she also revived her singing career by releasing her debut solo album, All By Myself. Nolan leaves her husband Steve Doneathy, their teenage daughter Erin, and her sisters/bandmates Anne, Denise, Maureen, Linda, and Coleen Nolan, and brothers Brian and Tommy.
