Taylor Pelling Entertainment retail chain, HMV can report that it already has its first Call of Duty fan queuing to attend the official midnight launch of 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II' at its London Oxford Street store on Monday 12th November. Taylor Pelling, aged 19 from Sutton, Surrey, began queuing last night (Wed 7 Nov) just after 5pm - nearly 6 days ahead of the official launch on Monday night. Both HMV and the games publisher Activision believe this is a record for such an event. Taylor, a media student studying at St Mary's in Twickenham, but with aspirations to become an actor, is spending the time wrapped up inside his tent playing games and watching his favourite TV shows on his tablet. HMV are doing their best to look after the avid customer, providing breakfast and refreshments over the next few days and giving him 24-hr store access for any personal needs. Activision have also supplied him with a bumper 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II' goodybag to be going home with, although on the launch night itself Taylor can expect to be rewarded further for his fantastic commitment and dedication. Taylor Pelling, comments: "I've attended a few midnight events at HMV, most recently for Diablo III, when I was sixth in the queue, but this time I was determined to be first in line. I love Call of Duty and I know the launch is going to be pretty spectacular, so being at the front of the queue to buy it will make it an even more memorable experience for me."
