Transport Minister Keith Brown vists the site of the A77 in the south of Scotland where road improvement works are soon to start. Brown said that significant improvements would be brought to users of the road as he announced details of the bidders to tender on the A77 Symington to Bogend Toll scheme, as well as the A75 Dunragit Bypass. The four companies selected to bid for the A75 Dunragit are Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Ltd., Carillion Construction Ltd., John Graham (Dromore) Ltd. and RJ McLeod (Contractors) Ltd. On the A77 Symington to Bogend Toll scheme, the selected bidders are RJ McLeod (Contractors) Ltd; South West Highways; John Paul Construction; Farrans (Construction) Limited. - Thursday 19th July 2012
