File Photo** * REESE WITHERSPOON ARRESTED AFTER COP BUST-UP Actress REESE WITHERSPOON was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday (19Apr13) following an altercation with a police officer. The Legally Blonde star was travelling in a car driven by her husband Jim Toth in the early hours of the morning when a cop pulled over their vehicle after spotting that it was in the wrong lane. According to a police report obtained by Variety.com, Witherspoon became involved in an argument with the officer as he questioned Toth. The report states, "Mrs. Witherspoon (sic) asked, 'Do you know my name?' I answered, 'No, I don't need to know your name.' I then added, 'Right now.' Mrs. Witherspoon stated, 'You're about to find out who I am.'... Mrs. Witherspoon also stated, 'You're going to be on national news.' I advised Mrs. Witherspoon that was fine." Witherspoon was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct while Toth was booked for driving while intoxicated. They were briefly jailed before being freed on bond. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday (22Apr13).
