Pete Doherty has contributed a blood painting on a postcard to the Morgan Boyce Gallery in Marlborough, near to his Wiltshire home. Local celebrities, artists and schoolchildren were invited to submit an original drawing on a postcard. The postcards are to be sold off at £5 each, with the exception of Pete's, which is to be raffled off at £5 a ticket. All proceeds go to local charities. The picture, drawn in blood, shows a drummer and two guitarists with musical notes floating above them, underneath is a poem written in French which describes a fumbling old man with dirty hands putting on his hat. - Tuesday 8th July 2008
