Legendary music producer Phil Spector is continuing to work during his murder trial. Spector is recording solo newcomer Hargo's debut album in the evenings after his weekday appearances in a Los Angeles court, where he has pleaded not guilty to the fatal shooting of Lana Clarkson at his Alhambra, California mansion in February 2003. So impressed was Spector the first time he heard Hargo, he ditched scheduled production work with Australian rockers The Vines to team up with the singer. A song called Crying For John Lennon will appear in upcoming documentary Strawberry Fields: Keeping The Spirit Of John Lennon Alive. Spector, who worked with late Beatle Lennon in the early 1970s, says, "It's a wonderful song. Actually it sounds like something John would have given me produce back in the day."
