Phil Collins was joined by former Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. for his performance at the US Open's opening ceremony on Monday night (29Aug16).
The event marked 65-year-old former Genesis star Phil's return to the concert stage after the singer announced the end of his retirement last year (15).
While he had been expected to perform just one song, Phil delighted fans by signing not only In the Air Tonight but also a rendition of his hit Easy Lover.
Tony Award-winner Leslie, who Phil introduced as a "good friend", was on hand to help as the pair duetted on Easy Lover - much to the excitement of the audience.
According to website Stereogum, network ESPN are also planning to use Phil's music to soundtrack the rest of their coverage of the tennis tournament.
