British rocker Pete Doherty will pull double duty by performing two shows in one evening to mark his first live performance since he left rehab.

The Libertines star checked out of the Hope Rehab Center in Thailand shortly before Christmas last year (14) after spending three months trying to finally beat his addiction to heroin.

Doherty was set to return to live performing by playing one intimate gig at the Brixton Jamm in south London, which is being promoted as a "big homecoming shindig" on 22 February (15), but the tickets sold out so quickly, Doherty has decided to add another gig for the same night at the same venue.

He is due to perform a set for one crowd at 6pm, before doing a second set later that evening.
