Pearl Jam jumped at the chance to support THE Rolling Stones on their upcoming tour, because they are massive fans and it could be the last time the legendary rockers hit the road.

The EDDIE VEDDER-fronted band - who performed on The Stones' BRIDGES TO Babylon tour - will join Mick Jagger and company when they play Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 28 September (05).

Bassist JEFF AMENT says, "It could be their last tour, and they treated us really great the last time we played with them.

"I think MIKE (McCREADY, lead guitarist) and STONE (GOSSARD, rhythm guitarist) are really huge fans, so it makes it especially fun to watch those guys when they're hanging out with Keith (RICHARDS) and RONNIE (WOOD)."
