Mexican superstar Paulina Rubio is set to mentor budding young singers on a Latin kids' version of Tv talent show The Voice.
The pop sensation has signed on as the first of three panellists who will judge the new Spanish-language series La Voz Kids (The Voice Kids).
The competition is open to entrants aged seven to 14, while the winner will walk away with a recording contract and a scholarship.
Tv boss Daniel Cubillo of Spanish-language network Telemundo Media says, "Having (Rubio) as a coach in this first-of-a-kind show is a true honour for us. As a talented (former) child singer herself, she is in a unique position to share with the kids her experience in their journey to make their dreams come true."
Rubio, who launched her career in teen group Timbiriche, has previously appeared as a coach on the Mexican version of The Voice alongside Miguel Bose and the late Jenni Rivera.
