Paulina Rubio's mother has shot down rumours suggesting the Latin superstar has separated from her newborn son's father.
The singer and her boyfriend Gerardo Bazua welcomed baby boy Eros in March (16), but their relationship recently came under scrutiny amid unfounded speculation of a split.
Paulina has yet to comment on the claims, but her mother, actress Susana Dosamantes, has taken it upon herself to silence the gossip.
During a recent appearance on Spanish-language podcast Shanik en Formula, the proud grandmother insisted, "There was no break-up, (the rumours) are fabricated."
Paulina officially introduced fans to her son in a cover shoot for Hola! magazine in April (16), when she revealed she and Gerardo wanted to name their boy after the Greek god of love.
The singer, 45, also has a young son, called Andrea Nicolas, from her marriage to Nicolas Vallejo, which ended in divorce in 2013. She began dating singer Gerardo months later after meeting when he auditioned as a contestant on the Mexican version of The Voice, on which she served as a mentor from 2012 to 2013.
