Mexican superstar Paulina Rubio has reached an out of court settlement with a former assistant who claimed she assaulted him over a plane ticket purchase.
Felipe Restrepo Betancur launched legal action against the singer last year (12), alleging she attacked him for purchasing a coach ticket when no first class seats were available. He demanded more than $250,000 (£156,250) in damages and unpaid overtime.
Rubio, who previously denied the assault allegations, has now struck a settlement deal to cover the unpaid overtime.
The singer agreed to hand over $6,232 (£4,072) and the cost of Betancur's legal fees, according to Tmz.com.
The assault allegations were dismissed by the court in Florida.
