Paul Weller's new single, That Dangerous Age, will be released on March 11th 2012, through Island Records. His highly anticipated eleventh studio album, Sonik Kicks, will be released on March 19th, 2012. To celebrate the release of his new album, Paul will be playing at the Camden Roundhouse for five nights, from 18-22 March 2012.
The video for That Dangerous Age sees 'The Modfather' performing the song on his guitar, on a set made up of blindingly bright lights. He is also accompanied by a pretty cabaret dancer.
Paul Weller has enjoyed a successful career that has spanned four decades. He is widely associated with the mod revival of the 1970's and 80's, earning the nickname The Modfather. At the age of seventeen he formed the band The Jam, who are well known for their hits, which include: That's Entertainment; Town Called Malice and Going Underground. When The Jam split up in 1982, Paul went on to found The Style Council a year later, enjoying success in their native UK until their split in 1989.
As a solo artist, Paul has had three number one and five number two albums, as well as five top ten and nineteen top twenty singles.
