Rocker Paul Weller has reportedly agreed to stage a benefit concert for controversial British activists FATHERS 4 Justice.

The WILD WOOD star is a divorced father of two so understands the anguish of the group, dubbed "dad's army", who have scaled cranes and monuments dressed as superheroes to fight for the rights of divorced fathers.

The former Jam frontman is hoping Ocean Colour Scene's STEVE CRADDOCK and DAMON MICHELLA will join him at the gig in London's Leicester Square early next year (05).

A close friend tells British newspaper The Sun, "Paul has friends who have problems getting to see their children. It's an issue he feels strongly about."
