Classical singer Paul Potts turned down the chance to make a cameo appearance in his upcoming biopic as the experience would have been "too bizarre".
The opera star, who shot to fame on Simon Cowell's Britain's Got Talent Tv show in 2007, is the subject of a new movie, One Chance, chronicling his rags-to-riches tale.
Producers behind the film, which stars British actor James Corden, asked the singer if he and his wife Julie-Ann would like to appear in the scene of their wedding re-enactment, but Potts rebuffed the offer.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "Someone said maybe Julie and I should sit in the back of the church as part of the congregation at our own wedding but that would have been just too bizarre...
"There wasn't the opportunity of another cameo because I was in and out of the country while they were making it so we couldn't have planned for anything like that."
