Hollywood veteran Paul Newman declares legendary boxer ROCKY GRAZIANO has a lot to answer for - because he turned him into a spitting foul-mouth.
The ROAD TO PERDITION star spent a lot of time with the sportsman before they started filming 1956's SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES ME, and the actor walked away a much cruder person.
Newman, who insists he never normally picks up traits from the characters he plays, says, "The only two things that ever stuck were, unfortunately, from Rocky Graziano, whom I was with before we started filming.
"I never used to spit. Now I do. It just sickens my wife. And I never used to swear. Now' it's not worth being in the same room with me."
