Former STARSKY AND HUTCH star Paul Michael Glaser reminisced about the hit 70s cop show at last night's (11MAR04) London premiere of its new movie spin-off - but confessed he hated the fictional pair's famous car.
The pair's red FORD GRAN TORINO became a symbol for seventies cool during the show's four year run - and has been resurrected to appear in the new film, starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as the duo.
But Glaser insists he was never keen on the car.
Speaking at the star-studded Leicester Square bash last night (11MAR04), he said, "I never liked that car.
"First of all, I thought it was ugly. Secondly, I thought it was ridiculous to have two undercover policemen driving around in a striped tomato. And thirdly, I've never been a big champion of Ford."12/03/2004 02:41
