Kozlowski has cited irreconcilable differences as her reason for ending the union, but the actor's publicist tells Wenn the couple is still "extremely amicable".
She has requested spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 15-year-old son, Chance.
The rep says, "He will be co-parented by them."
The news comes just weeks after Hogan sold his Malibu, California family retreat to fellow Aussie Chris Hemsworth.
