Patrick Stewart has embraced an intensive exercise routine to ensure he remains in top physical condition following heart surgery he had in 2004.
The Star Trek actor, who underwent a heart operation to widen an artery, is striving to be as healthy as possible.
The 65-year-old says, "I had an angioplasty last year but I went back to the doctor a year later for a check up and was given the all clear, so I'm glad to say I'm in good health now.
"I look after myself, I work out with a trainer three times a week and by myself on the other days."
