The make-up artist filed for divorce from the former Grey's Anatomy star in January, 2015, after 15 years of marriage, but it appeared they had rekindled their relationship later that year (15) when they were spotted together on a number of occasions, including a notable red carpet appearance at the Marie Claire awards.

It was speculated in January (16) that the divorce had been called off, but legally, there has been no movement in the case, according to Jillian hasn't pursued a final judgment or dismissed proceedings, and Patrick never even filed a response.

Judge Maren Nelson has reportedly sent Jillian legal documents urging her to take action otherwise the case will be thrown out of court.

Patrick, 50, was recently joined by his wife when he sat down for an interview with Britain's ES Magazine and he told reporters "Yeah, I think so" when asked about the reconciliation.

"You have to work at everything. And you cannot do everything. Something has to be sacrificed," Patrick explained in the interview, which was published last week (ends22May16).

It was reported that Patrick's love of motorsport got in the way of his marriage, and he admits he has cut back on racing for the sake of his wife and their three children Tallulah, 14, and twin boys, Sullivan and Darby, nine.

"I’ve sort of stepped back - I’m the team owner, but time goes by so quickly with my kids that I don’t want to miss that," he added. "Last year we had a good team, and a good car, it was the right moment... where I could focus 100 per cent on doing a full season. Now it’s time to put that personal philosophy into my kids, allowing them to find their goals, their passions."
