Table For One
Mike Rosenberg's band Passenger release their new single, Table For One on March 10th 2008 through Chalkmark Records.
23-year-old Rosenberg writes with empathy and knowing from the viewpoint of a disillusioned middle-aged man. "It was written while sitting in a pub in London waiting to go on stage", says Mike. "We just noticed all these men drinking alone, not wanting to go home, and wanted to try and get inside that."
The B-side is a new track entitled 'Northumberland', and was written while the band were on their first tour. Gentle, beautiful, full of nostalgia yet purposeful, it has echoes of both Simon & Garfunkel and Tunng.
Passenger have spent most of 2007 touring and playing festivals throughout the summer with more live dates in the UK and US coming soon. #
