Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton is no fan of life in Australia after filming new movie HOUSE OF WAX in the Antipodean country.
The hotel heiress was shocked by the underhand tactics of Australian paparazzi, and was dismayed by the quality of her accommodation while shooting the horror movie - a re-make of the 1953 classic starring Vincent Price.
Hilton made the comments in a US reality TV show focusing on her first major film role.
She says, "It was really annoying in Australia with the press, the paparazzi. Every time I'd be in, like, the hot tub or whatever, like, the next day it would be on the cover of every magazine.
And her Surfer's Paradise hotel, on Australia's Gold Coast, also comes in for criticism.
She adds, "This is my cheesy apartment building. It reminds me of a motel."08/04/2005 02:53
