Paris Hilton's controversial beer advert is back on TV in Brazil - after producers edited out the socialite's steamy scene.
The promo sparked a series of complaints when it aired in the country last month (Feb10), with critics claiming shots of Hilton dressed in a black robe and rubbing a can of Devassa beer on herself showed a "lack of respect" for women.
Producers behind the promo have now removed the controversial scenes and edited the ad to only show Hilton's face for several seconds.
The head of the advertising agency responsible for the campaign, Augusto Cruz, tells Brazilian newspaper O Estado de Sao Paulo,
"(There is) a good dose of humour (in the new advert). But I'm also sure there was nothing wrong with the previous one."
