Paramore star Hayley Williams has opened up about her emotional ordeal at the hands of bullies, revealing she had to change schools to escape her tormentors.
The singer struggled to fit in with her peers after her family moved from Mississippi to Tennessee and she became a target for her classmates.
Williams admits the bullying became so unbearable she dreaded going to school and quit after just six weeks.
She tells Britain's Sugar magazine, "I went to one school for six weeks and I was miserable. Even the teachers didn't like me. The girls were such b**ches. They would invite me to parties and I wouldn't go because I didn't want to be around them, then the next day at school, there would be all these rumours about me, like, 'Hayley's a s**t', 'Hayley's gay'.
"I went home crying, saying, 'Mum, I'm such a loser, I'm never going back'. She saw how upset I was and she was like, 'Okay'."
