Us3 release ‘Cantaloop 2004’ from their new album ‘Questions’. The original version of ‘Cantaloop’ written back in the early 90’s was a classic track and really epitomised the whole Acid Jazz movement. The 2004 version features two new Us3 versions along with two exclusive swinging hip-hop remixes by Waajeed of Bling47 and J Rawls of the Lone Catalysts. It would be a hard hitting feat to beat the original version however these attempts certainly modernise the single and bring it a different flavour to keep it up to date. Lovers of the original single and certainly lovers of trip hop and laid back breakbeat may like the 2004 version. Worth a listen.
