Hear some Texan emo

Texan emo outfit, succinctly known as Trail of Dead, are back on British soil with a string of UK festival appearances this month and a new single.

The single 'Relative Ways' is taken from the band's highly-acclaimed album 'Source Tags And Codes' and is released through Interscope on 9th September.

It'll be available on CD and 7-inch vinyl. The CD format also includes a new song 'A Blade Runner', while the vinyl includes another new track 'Intelligence' and a live version of 'Gargoyle Waiting', recorded in Vancouver.

Fans can see Trail Of Dead when they make performances at:

Leeds Festival - August 23rd
Glasgow's Gig On The Green - August 24th
Reading Festival - August 25th

The video for 'Relative Ways' was conceived and directed by Trail of Dead themselves and was filmed in the Yucatan jungle. It's based on a dream that friend and artist James Olsen had.

The band's Conrad Keely explained: "[It's] an attempt by us to unravel the meaning of man's existence. Although we've answered many of these questions ourselves, it will be the audience's challenge to interpret them visually, if at all."
