Over 50,000 to be won!

Over 50,000 to be won as Sci Fi channel teams up with HULK to find Britain’s Ultimate Gamer.

It has been told one thumb shall come to triumph over all thumbs.

One thumb shall wreak death and destruction to all in its path.

One thumb shall walk off with untold riches and shall be named the ultimate.

One thumb alone shall win the Ultimate Gamer.

This summer, 1000 contenders will be playing the HULK game in SciFi channel’s Ultimate Gamer - the biggest mainstream gaming competition ever staged in Britain.

Every member of the British public will be able to enter SciFi channel’s Ultimate Gamer competition by calling 09069 122 644 in order to win a share of a prize fund in excess of 50,000, with a cash prize of 15,000 going to the outright winner of the Grand Finale on 5th July.

With the Qualifying Heats scheduled for the same day as the release of the HULK game on Friday 13th June, in Virgin Megastores nationwide, all 1000 randomly selected competitors will be battling it out on a level playing field, with no opportunity for hours of practice beforehand.

Only those 150 players with a natural ability to maximise the HULK’s incredible strength will make it through to thrash it out on the big screen in the six regional Semi-Finals in UCI Cinemas on Saturday 28th June.

With just 30 contenders left vying for the enviable title of SciFi channel’s Ultimate Gamer, the HULK’s trail of destruction moves on to the massive screen at the UCI Empire Cinema in Leicester Square for the Grand Finale on Saturday 5th July. This event will be hosted by gaming aficionado, Emily Newton-Dunn, who presents SciFi channel’s weekly gaming show, Ultimate Gamer, on Mondays at 6.30pm.

How does SciFi channel’s Ultimate Gamer work?

Anybody and everybody in Britain can enter SciFi channel’s Ultimate Gamer by simply calling the competition phone line - 09069 122 644 - from Monday 21st April. (Calls cost 1 per minute and each call will last no more than 2 minutes total). All callers will be automatically entered into a prize draw for an all expenses paid trip for two to the World Film Premiere of HULK in LA.
