'Count In Fives' , the band's third single, follows the sold out and highly collectable 'Death At The Chapel' and the debut 'Sheena Is A Parasite' which was accompanied by the infamous Chris Cunningham video.

Produced by Jim Sclavunos of the Bad Seeds and mixed by Alan Moulder, the new single is again non-chart eligible and is released on limited edition seven inch vinyl and as a download. 'Count In Fives' comes backed with two exclusive tracks 'Who Says' and 'Night Of The Long Knives', which is inspired by the The Monks' 1966 track 'Higgle-dy-Piggle-dy'.

Formed in Southend in the Summer of 2005 the band, barely out of their teens, made their live debut last August with a line up of Faris Badwan Vocals, Tomethy Furse Bass, Joshua Von Grimm - Guitar, Spider Webb - Organ and Coffin Joe Drums. They've since built up a loyal following with a 15 minute live set that's fast, furious and chaotic and are without doubt the most exciting British band for years.

Following their recent sold out headline show at London's 100 Club, The Horrors set off on 'The NME Rock N Riot Tour' alongside The Fratellis, The Maccabees and The Dykneenies. The twelve date tour begins in Leeds on the 10th of October and will include a show at the London Astoria on the 15th of October.
