Stereo MC’s
Warhead/First Love

The Stereo MC’s are back would you believe it. Remember the days of ‘Step It Up’ back in the 90’s when this band were defining progressive British break beat music and UK Mcing. They came back four years ago with another album and showed they hadn’t died. Now with ‘Warhead’ we see some more of the Stereos’ doing what they do best. This track has the brooding depth that’s so familiar with them. There’s really infectious bass, nice break beats, synth sounds and samples to make it progressive that makes it groovy and full of attitude. The lyrics continue to push the social conscience that is delivered in a spoken word way. ‘First Love’ has a more British dub, reggae feel that makes us love street Britain so much. This track is very cleverly put together and is full of character. If you’re a fan of the Stereo MC’s this is much of the same of what you’ve grown to love about them.
