The most talked about band of 2004 return with their new single Laura' on June 7 th on Polydor records.

The glam-rockin' Laura' is taken from Scissor Sister's self-titled top five debut album which has now sold an incredible 300,000 copies to date. The critics have been unanimous in their love for the album with the influential Sunday Times Style recently saying Scissor Sisters are the name and soundtrack to drop at every dinner party.

Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic, Del Marquis and Paddy Boom are currently preparing for their first North American tour having recently been signed to Universal records in the States. The East Coast tour kicks off mid-May and then the band go west later in the summer.

The New Yorkers will be back in the UK this summer with a number of festival appearances. You'll be able to catch the Scissor Sisters live at Homelands, T In The Park, Glastonbury and V2004. And if you were wondering the Scissors one essential item to survive the festival season is sunscreen.'
