| Paul Arnold of Londons long running club night Chew the Fat releases the third single on his new label Fat. The club night is breakbeat, as is the music on the label. San Francisco based Jef Dam come up with an impressive offering to keep the momentum going. 194 is at the opposite end of the beat spectrum to Freq Nastys hardcore approach but its subtle composition should create no less a stir. Bordering on drum and bass, its tasty basslines and keyboards make a memorable instrumental. |
