Sometimes it can get frustrating. A tune kicks off, the intro sounds cool, then a nice vocal kicks in, then some even more tempting musical outtakes you think youre in for a right treat. And then nothing happens it stays the same through to the end. Dave Londons mix of Turn the Lights Down is a point in question.
He managed to pull out some really tasty samples (airy vocal, deep bass-line and crisp beats) but just doesnt appear to know what to do with them. A return to the drawing board may be in order. Deejay Punk-Roc provides the most interesting tune with his funky disco remix of Hey Joe (not, I hasten to add Hendrixs track). |
