Rob - "Power Glove" Single Review

News & Reviews
6. Rob Power Glove (12" - (Source))
An unusual song to release and one that would sit more comfortably in the electric rock/pop charts of the seventies than in 2001. Power Glove is also home to the somewhat feeble vocals of Astrale. Rob, apparent protg of fellow Frenchmen, Air, doesnt manage to shake off the trademark French sound with this release and would seem to be aiming for a slot in the national charts its all just a bit too pop.
So, not many points for the original. Instead its the follow up track Dont Kill Jack Lahana that steals the show with its instrumental blaze of stuttered beats and disco stabs.
