Kristian Craig Robinson, aka Capitol K, has set the stalls out well for himself with two superb and left of centre limited edition releases last year. Now he returns with a new single Pillow, lifted from his forthcoming album Island Row.
Pillow is a daintily twisted piece of lo-fi experimentation, with nubile vocals, weaving noises and playful guitars. Ultra catchy with more odditys than a series of the Goodies, this is the start of something very exciting. Mixes are from Leafcutter John (whoever he may be) and Wagon Christ. |
